Bridge To Recovery provides temporary residence, pre-treatment housing, resident treatment, day treatment, transportation, a 24-hour helpline, and consulting/placement services at no-charge to individuals. BTR serves a diverse population that draws from all North Carolina counties and out-of-state referrals. BTR is funded by donations from individuals, churches, and foundations. Since it’s inception in late 2011, BTR has directly housed/placed over 1,000 individuals and indirectly assited thousands more. BTR has a 99% placement rate and an excellent reputation among the referral agencies in our network.
The Men’s Residential Treatment Program is federally registered as a charitable recovery program. We are located just 10 minutes from downtown Monroe in a gentle country setting. This property is located on almost 6 acres and sleeps 10 men in a dual occupancy rooms. This newly remodeled house has six bedrooms and 3 private bathrooms. This 28 day therapeutic program offers men the opportunity to become free of their addictions using North Carolina state sanctioned clinical practices facilitated by state certified/licensed counselors. In addition, we provide Spiritual Renewal with an ordained Pastoral counselor.
The Bridge to Recovery provides a family style abstinence based, residential treatment program. BTR addresses each individuals Mind, Body, and Spiritual Needs in a small group setting. Addiction treatment takes many forms. We deliver quality evidence based treatment to provide incentives for the clients to remain abstinent, and promote life long recovery. In addition, most of our staff are in recovery themselves and offer support, strength and hope through peer counseling with around the clock staffing. BTR also uses community resources through local church support and the most effective recovery resource ever discovered, the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Each client is given a long term treatment plan recommendation to support a successful recovery to meet their individual needs.
If BTR has a full census, we have the ability to provide short-term sober housing for men and women seeking recovery from alcoholism and addiction. Located in Stanly County, NC, Men and women can be admitted almost immediately after detox. Residents can stay as long as necessary until long-term placement is arranged. Transportation and placement services are provided to everyone in need.
Our day treatment is designed for adults, aged 18 and older who are struggling with addiction. Clients may live at home or in a safe supportive recovery environment as they work through the alcohol and drug day treatment program. This is an all-day, short term, structured, intensive treatment program that may be used as a step-down transition from inpatient care or as an alternative to inpatient treatment. Clients participating in the day treatment program will receive evidence based treatment, peer support, and follow our 12 step abstinence based curriculum.
